David Rasnick argues that HIV is a harmless passenger virus that does not cause AIDS. He says the entire HIV/AIDS paradigm is fundamentally wrong. AIDS does not behave like a contagious disease; its pattern does not match what you would expect from a single infectious agent as it spreads through a population. Instead, he points to the real causes of immune collapse to be recreational drugs, malnutrition, poverty, and poor living conditions—and, most controversially, the antiretroviral drugs themselves. Rasnick says they are toxic and cause the immune destruction they are supposed to treat.
Basically, HIV/AIDS is a hoax.
