At the 2025 Hope Freedom Festival, Mike Robinson and Charles Malet gave a presentation exposing the drive by successive Tory and Labour regimes for legislation which looks incredibly similar to legislation brought in by the Hitler regime, beginning in 1933 with the ‘Editors Law’.
While this might seem trite at first glance, Mike and Charles argue that a closer examination of the intent of recent British legislation justifies the comparison, and that the historical lessons need to be learned.
