Road Freedom | UK Column Interviews

Terri Hall, an activist of Texans Uniting for Reform and Freedom, tells Mark Anderson about fighting US toll roads being imposed on America’s vehicle-owning public by international private companies.

Publicly owned motorways are being leased from the state and being converted into privately operated, highly expensive routes. Failure to pay the toll often leads to the seizing of vehicles, and this has happened to hundreds of thousands of Texans.

Terri also describes manipulative technologies like automotive ‘kill’ switches in vehicles as well as the dangers of driverless trucks and unmanned taxis currently causing havoc on US roads.
