Piping around the Planet | UK Column Interviews

At just 20 years old, Robin Alderslowe has a profound understanding of his native Scottish culture and a keen sense of the forces which attempt to challenge and threaten it.

A talented musician, he plays his bagpipes all over the world as he treats other cultures to the sound of his homeland.

Robin spoke to Charles Malet at the foot of the famous Wallace Monument in Stirling.

He describes the reception he receives when he plays his pipes in other countries and talks about the power of music.
