Following a brief meeting with Heritage party leader David Kurten at the Public Child Protection Wales conference in South Wales in April this year, Brian Gerrish is very pleased to bring David into UK Column studio 2 for an informative discussion about the party and its approach. In an engaging interview, David Kurten talks about the party's campaigning efforts in Wales, the appointment of Kim Isherwood PCPW as party leader for Wales, censorship of small parties in the press, their exclusion from hustings and how much effort is needed to break through the 'main' party stranglehold of democracy, including those all important leafleting and doorstep visits. David places an important focus on the difference that people can make by getting elected in local council and parish council elections.
David also stresses the importance of Christian, pro-life and anti-war Heritage party values over and above the uni-party focus on policies alone. Brian and David discuss the attack on society by a beast system as a foundation to fight back via the ballet box, and take a look at the other emerging parties.
Enthusiastic and very well informed as always, David Kurten encourages everyone to get involved in active politics to counter the emerging regime of a destructive political system hostile to communities, families, human identity and Christianity; threats which have enabled him to productively engage with other faiths, particularly around the vital topic of protection of our children.
