Marcel Jahnke moved from his native Germany to the Far East early on in his career and he is now based in Thailand, where he is engaged in regenerative farming, educational and film-making projects, most of which are self-funded. He has oversight of a significant business portfolio which is spread across the region, including, but not limited to China.
From 2020, when he joined UK Column as a member, he has supported a significant number of individuals and organisations engaged in alternative media, opposition to medical tyranny and the pursuit of liberty. Since the lockdown era he has narrowed his focus to UK Column and film and social projects in East and South East Asia as well as in the USA. Marcel joined the board of Akita Media in 2025 and committed to providing a shareholder loan for business development purposes.
