This article relates to the segment presented by Katy-jo Murfin at the 35-minute mark in the 2 May 2022 episode of UK Column News.
It’s a terrible shame that we still have’'t learned not to judge a book by its cover. This shortcoming is a part of social conditioning that we all suffer from, whether we like it or not, and it goes hand in hand with our propensity to give the mainstream media the power to paint anyone in any light they like; we will simply lap it up without question. This is how they can make an extremely untalented person a superstar, and have the power to destroy an innocent man’s life. The way they have portrayed the Alpha Team (formally known as Alpha Men Assemble) and its member Danny Glass is no exception.
One headline from the Daily Mail reads:
‘We need to target vaccine centres, schools and councils’: Inside the chilling anti-vax group where ex-soldiers are teaching hundreds to wage ‘war’ on the government and preparing them for ‘direct action’
Never mind the murder our government is commiting and the fact that these men are simply trying to save the lives of innocent children and to support families that are targeted by the state. The real villains in this story are the press, yet again, who will always work for their master, whether they have the truth to tell or not. There is no such thing as honest mainstream journalism, and there hasn’t been for decades. But the tide is turning, and they are losing power. After pouring at least $100 million into CNN+, its owners shut it down before it even survived its first month.
A wonderfully insightful statement on the matter was made well over a century ago:
There is no such thing, at this date of the world’s history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone.
The business of the journalist is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intelectual prostitutes.

Fortunately, we have incredible new independent channels and ways of educating ourselves with what is really going on in our world and what has happened in our past, and it is our duty to render the mainstream media totally redundant in our day.
Who is Danny Glass?
My first encounter with the Alphas was at the Sussex home educators’ group, HOPE, where Danny had come to see exactly where we were in case we needed any help. We’d had a visit from the Unregistered Schools Team of the British Government’s education inspector, OFSTED; and Matt, one of our tutors, thought getting in contact with the Alphas would be a good idea. Danny was extremely warm and friendly, and after looking around the site offered to help us with the many jobs that needed doing.
He was as good as his word. Not long afterwards, he managed to organise a team of 70 volunteers to come onsite, from all over the country, and work for free for three days! The weekend didn’t feel like work. We did work very hard, but the incentive of building a better world for our children made the atmosphere and vibe indescribable. There was not one problem all weekend. Even the kids played and helped without a single moan or argument. A wonderful group from the Alphas have since raised around £2,000 for HOPE by walking Hadrian’s Wall in six days. That’s 84 miles, only stopping to sleep at night in a tent which they carried on their backs. Their support is constant and they are up on site again in a couple of weeks to complete some jobs and start new ones.
This is the picture that should be painted of Danny Glass and the Alphas—and yet they are being slandered and called domestic terrorists. Even more outrageous is the disgusting arrest of Danny in the early hours of the morning on 28 April 2022.
A couple of weeks before the police decided to raid his house, Danny had taken a job on a building site and had been staying with his mother to look after her. She is in a bad way with COPD and suffers from asthma and other health conditions. So he had been staying there with his beloved dog, and his girlfriend had been looking after their house with her brother, fortunately not on her own. At 3 am on Thursday 28 April, Danny received a text from his neighbour to inform him that his house was being raided by armed police.
Danny’s girlfriend immediately called him in a state of terrible distress as the visitors were turning his house upside down looking for fictitious weapons. As requested by him, she sent him a text message and a photograph of the warrant that had been produced at the door. Wanting to get the intruders out of the house and get to the bottom of this completely outrageous behaviour, Danny phoned the non-emergency police number 101 and asked what on earth was going on. He informed them of his whereabouts, as he had nothing to hide, and waited for the knock at the door.
Odd warrant
The warrant had been granted for:
Suspected possession of: a large crossbow that has the capacity to automatically load with six-inch darts; two smaller single-shot handheld crossbows: knives, either Bowie/Rambo or Zombie/Swords in appearance, that are being stockpiled; other offensive weapons not covered above.
Also any electronic devices, storage, any communication data that forms part of the conspiracy. Any documents that hold a specific target or targets or plan for the weapons they are stockpiling.
The only weapons Danny has—or that Danny has ever had—are a Victorian-era police truncheon that belonged to his father and a four-inch lock knife he has had for years. In order to get a warrant, the police will have had to go to the Crown Prosecution Service to obtain permission by showing some evidence of this suspicion—and they wouldn’t have had any. So one wonders how on earth they got the warrant in the first place.
Also, Danny had not been at his house for a couple of weeks, so they clearly hadn’t done any surveillance on him. The validity of one month on the warrant had also been changed three months, in what looks like a different pen.
Ex-Detective Constable Charles Malet of Gloucestershire subsequently commented to UK Column News on what might have gone on to justify the warrant and the raid. He told us:
The problem lies with how legislation is drawn up and the way that police use it in a tactical fashion. In particular, the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE).
In this instance, it sounds as though Glass’s own house was entered and searched using a Section 8 PACE search warrant and that his mother's house was entered under Section 17 PACE and searched under Section 18 PACE. Katy-Jo said that Glass had not been living in his own house for about two weeks. This demonstrates exactly how the system can be manipulated. It would appear that police wanted to search both premises but, based on the intelligence, they did not have grounds to. Therefore, the warrant is applied for on the premises that Glass does own or control (his own house), which need not be occupied at the time of executing the warrant. Once Glass is inside his mother's house, police may use Section 17 to enter (in order to arrest) and then Section 18 to search.
The system of grading intelligence should be the control measure which prevents wrongful searches taking place, but the system is vulnerable here, too. In Glass’s case, he will be considered as a perfectly legitimate target by police because of his position on the so-called vaccines and on the conduct of the UK Government. It is perfectly credible that police were provided with fictitious accounts of weapons held by Glass by members of the public. The grading of such intelligence, if done correctly, could not have resulted in an application to a magistrate (who is, of course, a volunteer) for a warrant.
With regards to the crossing out of one month and replacing it with three months, for the validity of the warrant, I suspect this was because an old form was being used. A search warrant granted by a magistrate is valid for three months from the date of issue, so Glass was not singled out for special treatment. Presumably, with the knowledge that Glass was spending time at his mother's house, police timed the application for the warrant very particularly.
This episode does illustrate how the application of legislation can be made to be almost entirely subjective. It also demonstrates how badly police are able to treat people who hold the “wrong” views, and yet face no consequences when acting in error. One can scarcely imagine this happening to a climate change activist. For the record, none of the firearms searches I attended, over the course of a year, resulted in the seizure of a firearm. However, the supposed offender was always well known to police and this is simply part of the pointless pattern of “disrupting” the activities of (usually) minor criminals. With this in mind, there was no chance that Glass would be asked to attend a voluntary interview.
Vicious treatment
When the knock at the door came, he told his mum "don’t answer it, they’ll only barge you out of the way. Let me put the dog in the living room and I’ll answer it." But by the time he’d got to the end of his sentence, they’d already smashed down the back door and dragged him outside. Roughing him up and yelling at him to stop resisting. As you can imagine this was horrendous for his mum to watch and she was yelling back he’s not, he’s not. Which he wasn’t. They threw him to the floor and handcuffed him.
At this point, his mum was in such a state that she started to have an asthma attack. They ransacked his mum’s house with no warrant, going through all her belongings, which was an awful experience for her. The police officers picked Danny up by his hands and dislocated his shoulder. “It’s an old injury,” Danny explained, “and it popped back in straight away, but it was still extremely painful”. It was also completely unnecessary and totally outrageous behaviour, if you ask me as a commentator. This is how they are treating an innocent man whose only goal in life is to help and protect children. The police threw him in the van and were provoking him with taunts including:
Look at your poor mum! Why are you doing this to her?
and:
What are you still living at home with your mum for?
In the subsequent interview, all the police really wanted to question Danny about was Alpha Men Assemble. Danny offered them his phone. “I’ll unlock it and you can have access to everything on there,” he told them. “I have absolutely nothing to hide! I just really need it back so I can stay in contact with my mum and my girlfriend and for work. It’s my lifeline, so please just give it back after you’ve done with it.” They acknowledged this, and did give it back when Danny was released without charge after being held for fourteen hours. He was informed that they had raided two other addresses as well that night, neither of which he had ever heard of.
Danny did tell me that he regrettably lost it in there with them, as the injustice of it all was infuriating. If all they wanted to do was question him about the Alpha Men Assemble, they could have asked him to come in for a chat and he would have done so.
After Danny told them how disgraceful and unprofessional their behaviour had been, they terminated the interview—apparently looking rather embarrassed.
Significance
The Alpha Team are drawn from all walks of life. They are men have huge concerns for the safety and welfare of children. They actually want help from the police. It’s always the same story though, isn’t it: how many stories have you heard where someone has tried to report a case of child abuse or uncover a paedophile ring and they have been warned against it, ended up in a mental institution or ended up with a bullet through their heads?
It’s not a conspiracy theory any more. It’s complete inversion, and we must start to support each other, find the courage to stand up to our oppressors, and change this world for the sake of our children and the future of humanity. Danny lost his job as a result of having been detained for fourteen hours and having to spend days helping his mum and girlfriend tidy up the mess. His mum is deeply disturbed by the ordeal, and his girlfriend is so traumatised that she won’t stay in their house.
We cannot keep letting them get away with this behaviour.
During my report on UK Column News on 2 May, I mentioned that Danny had been told that it was counter-terrorism police and intelligence officers that had arrested him. Danny a few days later chased this up with a call to the counter-terrorism police and they quite quickly returned his call, saying they knew nothing about it! They undertook to identify the police officer named on the warrant, but Danny hasn’t heard back from them since. He is currently taking legal advice.
Danny has had time to reflect on the event. He now says he is seriously coming around to the opinion that this was not the work of counter-terrorism police, nor intelligence officers (the intelligence agencies do not have powers of arrest anyway). He is of the opinion that such officers would not turn up at his house, and observes that the way the whole arrest and interview were handled was highly unprofessional. So if it wasn’t them, then who on earth was it?
