Military here too. Human pride is staggering, it’s utterly insane; and not sustainable for any length of time. Getting back to inalienable rights, these are unrecognisable in the face of human arrogance and pride.

or… you can’t organise a huge army as well as you can a specialised commando. Take the fight to them in small groups and join the dots with each success.

Yet we had been seeing another kind of flight, a spiritual liberation from this world, people who rose above their problems. They said God made these things possible, and we only smiled. We had seen spiritual release, but liked to tell ourselves it wasn’t true.

Actually we were fooling ourselves, for deep down in every man, woman, and child, is the fundamental idea of God. It may be obscured by calamity, by pomp, by worship of other things, but in some form or other it is there. For faith in a Power greater than ourselves, and miraculous demonstrations of that power in human lives, are facts as old as man himself.

Enjoy what is left of your life as you can!

We will, and the jokers who try to stop us will be hoisted by their own pedotards.

    Not likely, is it?

    No, not likely at all.
A thin veneer of hope that justice(what ever that means) will prevail.

“Soldier on, we got em on the back foot” sort of spirit.

It is good to be positive but some times it does cross into fantasy.

Here is a good take on reconciling inalienable rights with Christian belief: https://newswithviews.com/general-mike-flynn-inspires-the-left-to-speak-about-god/

Yes, you must of.. but alluded to and [unalienable] under Tyranny (1st para) its clear that most thinking people have reached the same conclusion about the suggested solutions offered by the link at the start of this thread. * back to the Flynn article then:* Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.) —Saul Alinsky. If that’s how ‘they’ have been successful (eg. treatment of Flynn), what’s stopping us from doing the same. UKColumn does seem to be having some degree of success by turning this back on ‘them’ (albeit with a very limited audience to appreciate and reinforce these good works).

“what’s stopping us from doing the same.”

What is it you are suggesting we should do? –

Is it really possible to get a mass group of people to move as one and freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support
network and isolate the target from sympathy? maybe it is…

Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. – go after boris, the queen ? hmmm

why, yes but you’ve misunderstood. The focus has to be on reaching critical mass; when the point is reached where enough people say one simple word: No.
Building parallel economies or virtual worlds in which to exist; or mimicking their build back better b.s. isn’t going to work. I find that linked article naïve.

    I agree about parallel economies.

    Ok, lets run a scenario.

We have reached critical mass, enough people are saying no and then just getting on with their days.

The narrative keeps creeping forward, people still do not find the time to object, protest or reject everything and anything that is rolled out by TPTB.

God is not angry enough yet to do anything…. now what ?

[think it’ll get much worse before God says enough, read Revelation]

We have critical mass; just not enough momentum to carry it forward. Why? Because the levels of discomfort are not high enough. To the edge of the cliff we must go.
    Else, we’ve lost.
    caveat: just my musings

i agree, critical mass was reached a while ago.

we are now comfortable with our stance, which ever position that is.

some things are different , some things are the same. the balance has not tipped enough. where is the line i wonder?

The edge of a cliff sounds like a story in a paper about someone else across the sea, “surely it wont happen in good old blighty”

Just the same as the papers always speak of the enemy who lurks across the sea.

maybe.. or maybe not… if it is, it is being executed very precisely . if not life goes on
