Although the attention of the British public has long been distracted by Media Disinformation campaigns there are still occasions when the press publish a small fragment of an issue of constitutional importance.

For example, when reading about the recent troubles in Eqypt I was intrigued by a comment contained within the article Hillary Clinton says Egypt needs transition towards democracy. The article reported that

It seems that Bibi and Barry are best of friends again. Operation Austere Challenger 2012, the joint Israeli/US military "exercises", which were cancelled following a spat between Presidents Netanyahu and Obama, have been rescheduled for October.

Operation Austere Challenge 2012 will be the largest joint Israel/US military exercises in history. The exercises will involve 3000 troops, as well as the deployment of the United States' Theater High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile system and the ship-based Aegis system. Israel’s own Arrow, Patriot and Iron Dome missile systems will work in cooperation with their US counterparts.

There has been a significant backlash to Andrew Adler's op-ed. However the response from at least one senior Jewish reporter, works hard to divert attention onto Obama's legitimate critics.

"Austere Challenge 12", the joint US-Israeli military exercises, scheduled for April, have been cancelled.

The cancellation follows a tense telephone call between the two Presidents last week, as reported by Debka.

Obama is 100% behind an attack on Iran, but many of his most senior military are not, recognising such an attack as an insane act. Similarly, Netanyahu continues to face similar opposition from the heads of the Mossad, Shin Bet and others.

In her recent Daily Mail blog article on the topic of Declan Ganley’s call for a United States of Europe, based on the precise formulation set out on the US Federal Constitution, and explicitly based on Hamiltonian national banking, ME Synon betrays a violently anti-federalist outlook which, while entirely appropriate with reference to the anti-republican corporate kleptocracy that animates the European Union, simply replays the age old republican vs federalist dispute which plagued the founding fathers in the early years of US Independence.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, George Soros has been identified by US journalist Wayne Madsen as financing the anti-Putin protests in Russia via Georgia.

Madsen's article on the Veterans Today website cites an unnamed eastern European intelligence source, who has stated that money earmarked for AIDS prevention in Georgia has been diverted to Russian opposition groups.

In an article for the National Review, John Yoo, erstwhile legal advisor to the Dubya regime and author of the so-called torture memos which justified Cheney's torture operations, provided a new justification for war with Iran - that the United States is the new British Empire.

Obama has failed to "build the legal case for attacking Iran", according to Yoo, instead depending on the United Nations. This is a staggering statement, very much in line with the type of neo-con rhetoric seen just prior to the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.

It is pointless, he argues, to expect assistance from the United Nations, since:

Reported in several mainstream papers today, US 'Supercop' Bill Bratton hits back at critics. Well done BIll because his words expose him for what he really is........a 'transformational leader'. Bratton apparently states "I find it ironical, the hue and cry about outsiders..."

Is there something rather sinister hidden beneath the fluffy Big Society label that the British public find unpalatable?

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?

If we were awarding prizes for Councils hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons then Suffolk County Council would be a strong contender for the first prize.

In June, 2010 it was revealed that the Conservative controlled Council had engaged a spin doctor on £182,000 a year who would 'involve a pro-active approach to communications, particularly in media management, including campaigns, media public relations, marketing events, branding and web'. They had also hired a teletubbies expert to speak at a motivational event for staff.

Those readers who have been following my One World Governance series of articles will recall that in Part 5 I highlighted the fact that both David Cameron and Nick Clegg claimed that the new Liberal Democrat / Conservative administration was underpinned by a common purpose. In Part 8 I presented evidence that many MPs were also Members of the All Party Parliamentary United Nations Group and, additionally, that Vince Cable had helped to produce the Brundtland report Our Common Future which launched the concept of 'sustainable development'.

Following the failure to reach binding Treaty agreements amongst the Nations attending the Cop 15 Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in November 2009 UK Column readers have probably already noted that media coverage of the 2010 COP 16 Conference in Cancun, Mexico was surprisingly low key. In fact the Wikileaks affair and the tuition fees protests might be viewed as yet another deliberate media attempt at public distraction.

In June 2010 Lord Hannay, United Nations UK Association Chairman conceded that

Despite the volume of evidence that I have already presented in relation to the organisation, Common Purpose, one issue is becoming increasingly clear - The British Media generally neglects to inform the British public of its' activities and has also failed to educate its' readership in relation to the the United Nations Agenda 21 programme.

Remember this?

A tiny fraction of media coverage, mostly postings on online discussion boards, blogs and websites, is making highly offensive and untrue claims about Common Purpose.

Everyone knows what a lobbyist is, but do you know what an "Adviser" is in Washington, D.C.?

Editor's note: although the following comes from the USA, it is presented here in support of Martin Edward's One World Governance series. This article is published with permission, and copyright remains with the author.

Americans have a lot more in common with the British than many may realize. On both sides of the Atlantic there is a very quiet and totally identical revolution underway. Commoners from Alaska to London face the same enemy with the same name. What binds them in a way that surpasses all others is the simple fact that neither side knows what exactly their enemy is called.

As I write this, in a real sucker punch, the FTSE is up 10% so far today. Hooray, the world is saved!

Or not.

What could be behind this insane, hysterical reaction?

One reason is that late yesterday, the FSA called a halt to short selling of financial stocks in the UK. As a result, many (t)raders have had to get themselves out of short positions. That musta hurt!

The second, much bigger, reason is that the US Treasury Secretary, Hank Paulson, in collusion with the US Congress, is about to commit an act of blatant treason.

It is now two weeks into the Israeli war on the people of Gaza.

1000 Palestinian men, women and children, and no doubt some leaders of the militant group Hamas are dead, as compared with a handful of Israelis, some broken fences and flower pots in Israel.

While I do not normally like to comment or be drawn into the debate about the "Palestinian issue," the brazen, wanton, criminal atrocities that are being committed in this sick business are simply too heinous to be ignored.

Last night's Channel 4 News carried an interview between John Snow and the TUC's Brendan Barber.

Commenting on the unemployment figures released earlier, Barber said, "We want to see the same focus and energy and determination that has been applied to the crisis in the banking sector applied to the real economy. We need a recovery plan for the real economy, and that's got to be about maintaining demand in the economy, not letting jobs go needlessly."

Good start.

"Its got to be about maintaining public expenditure programmes ..."

Uh, oh.

Well, Doctor, what have we got—a Republic or a Monarchy?

A Republic, if you can keep it.
