The news today that Martin Smith has hanged himself in his prison cell has both shocked and saddened us. In a way, we should not be shocked. Martin had made it clear that he would kill himself if he got the chance, and it saddens us that we could not do more to help him.

The stories in today’s media were disgraceful. Full of vitriol; painting Martin as a heinous, perverted paedophile, they destroy his memory while at the same time heaping praise on the disgusting system which permitted the miscarriage of justice that branded Martin with those labels.

On Tuesday, 24th January in Stonehaven Court, Scotland, Robert Green was found guilty of Breach of the Peace, and breaking some of his bail conditions. Three other charges were dropped. 

Barely reported in the mainstream press, this man has been found guilty of ‘crimes’ for daring to expose the facts concerning the rape and abuse of Hollie Greig at the hands of senior members of the Scottish establishment. Even before the latest 6 day hearing, the Scottish ‘justice’ system had spent over £500,000 trying to shut Robert up.

85 year old Norman Scarth, sentenced to six months in prison at the infamous Leeds Prison for serious offenders, for attempting to make an audio recording of a public court case on his mobile phone, because he is hard of hearing, has been released immediately and his sentence was considered served by the President of the Queen’s Bench at the Royal Courts of Justice today, September 9, 2011, who said that it did not serve the public interest to keep him incarcerated. More news to follow in the next few days.

The trial of Martin Smith took place in Manchester Crown Court and lasted 8 days. Mr Justice Irwin presided and the Jury found Smith guilty on 11 counts of rape, attempted rape, indecency with a child and indecent assault. Sentence is still to be passed, but in the British media, and for millions of people in UK and worldwide, Martin is already a criminal and convicted paedophile.
