Murdoch-free media endorsed by Chambers of Commerce?

Adam Marshall, of the British Chambers of Commerce, is quoted today,

“there are concerns that a relatively small group of people can reach large audiences and sway opinion without offering all the facts. “

Shock horror!  We, too, look forward to a day when journalists are truly free, and what is known as the mainstream media no longer filter information away from us.   Now, given the clout of the Chambers of Commerce, will this day come sooner?

Actually, Marshall above was complaining about people blogging about the slave labour schemes whereby unemployed people work for Tesco for free (– Tesco gets free labour, unemployed get to keep their benefit of £53/week).  He thinks the government should ignore the bloggers and endorse these businesses which are doing “good” here.

Ironic and ridiculous double-speak.
