The Mindset of the Healthists

I mentioned the proposed introduction of a global tax on fizzy drinks in my latest article.

This is from Chris Snowdon’s blog

The asshole on the left begins by saying "We are in the midst of the biggest public health crisis in the history of the world." He's not talking about the Black Death, cholera, influenza, malaria or even cigarette smoking. He's talking about people drinking fizzy drinks in North America.

Here’s the video Chris is referring to. See what you make of it.

I think I should tax my Childrens pleasure! because it is Obvious that Pleasure is damn Dangerous! it has been statistically proven that it can lead to growing up Spoiled, However my wife thinks she should Tax Sex as it can be statistically proven to shorten Life and Cause ubwanted Children.

How sodding pathetic and Sick are educated Idiots Getting?.

Fizzy drinks, or "sodas" are only part of the problem but that they are unhealthy there is no doubt.
The #1 cause of obesity seems to have less to do with how much we eat or how much exercise we take (though both of these play a part) as much as what we eat.

Our bodies require nourishment, protein.  So much of today's food contains little nourishment.  So folks eat until satisfied but then, because the food they eat has little value in terms of nourishment, their bodies demand more - so they eat more.

The quality stuff is digested and converted into energy - the rest cannot be used, can rarely be digested and stays in the body as surplus fat.  Thus folks get bigger and bigger while always needing more food.
In addition to the low nourishment content of so many of today's highly processed foods, they also contain harmful chemical additives used as colouring, flavour enhancers, preservatives, food substitutes and genetically mutated organisms.

Mostly all artificial sweeteners are poison.  Many of the vegetables and fruits contain traces of anti-fungicides and pesticides which on the one hand attack our bodies' immune system while on the other hand they poison us.  The genetically mutated stuff causes a wide range of detrimental effects.

Meat also has been attacked.  Cattle are given hormones and a cocktail of drugs while at the same time living out their lives under great stress which causes sickness which has to be treated with even more chemicals.  You really want to eat such meat?  Same applies to chickens.

Of course, in areas where water is flouridated no-one cares ... um, you do know that flouride is a key ingredient in Prozac don't you?  (Flouridated water was first used in prison camps to keep the prisoners quiet)

Mind you, even in areas where water is not flouridated I notice McDonalds, KFC and similar fast-food (food? that's a laugh) outlets are doing great business.  Why?  When real food is available why would anyone buy this rubbish for themselves let alone for their children?

Bread and other bakery - check the ingredients.  F'rinstance, Hovis does a loaf claimed to be the Hovis original.  That is a lie.  Check the ingredients ... the original never contained soya derivatives and all soya can be assumed to be genetically mutated unless stated otherwise.

While quality food costs more per item it costs no more in the long term 'cos when eating quality food one eats less.  The cheapest food is costing you far more than you know.

And by the way - no-one needs to eat meet while pure fruit juice tastes delicious and does you good while the sodas, colas and similar drinks actually cause you harm.  And while I think of it - alcohol is not a drug - it is an addictive toxin with which the human body is not designed deal.

Finally, smoking.  See: http://www.intbel.net/healthysmoke.html

Remember, we have been lied to about everything of of real importance - it behoves everyone to research those matters which are of the greatest importance to us.
