A Simple Truth

The Tory Party tweeted out their simple truth today: that true compassion isn't giving people a benefits cheque - it's giving them a chance.

Giving them a chance? Are these people being given a chance?

Or is it that it’s only people who are not sub-saharan Africans, Libyans, Iraqis, Syrians, Yemenis, Iranians that are given a chance?

Oh, you mean British people will be given a chance. Sorry, I misunderstood.

Well, are we being given a chance? Second only to Ireland, and worse than Greece for austerity requirements according to this chart from the IMF.

What chance has Britain? Is this a long term economic plan, or a long term economic disaster?

And what about the 1 million people now needing to use food banks? Are they being given a chance?

Devolving power to corrupt local authorities. Maybe that's giving us a chance?

And what about Melanie Shaw; languishing in a private prison in Peterborough on a trumped up charge? What about her chance for justice for the years of insititutional abuse she suffered as a child? What about her chance to see justice for the children she knows were murdered at Beechwood Childrens Home? What chance are you giving her?

David Cameron, the simple truth is that you are a liar and a hypocrite. You do not deserve to be running this country, and neither any of your 650 or so colleagues, most of whom are either paedophiles or excusers of paedophiles.

This election is a travesty. Party politics is a travesty, and the system of party politics needs to be ended.

Democracy? We don’t have it. And if what you are peddling is Democracy, Dave, I don’t want it.
