The world is falling apart so quickly now, that there’s not any real point in reporting it as “news”. By the time I have this article written, there’ll be an outbreak of hell somewhere else on the planet.

The events of recent weeks in Africa, India and Europe can, if you do some work, be traced back to the same source – the liberal financial elites who base themselves in London.

While they themselves try to remain nameless, their trained pets do their work for them: George Soros (whose hand, and money, can be seen everywhere), Gordon Brown, Tony Bliar etc. The pre-programmed public face of the new world order.

The layer beneath them, the Darlings and Paulsons of this world, are just stupid incompetents, going along to get along, living in a fantasy world of self importance.

But while I can point fingers at these people and say, “ALL the HELL that exists on this planet is as a result of YOUR POLICIES,” it is not these men and women that deserve to be stood against the wall and shot.

It’s us. You and I.

WE allow this to go on. WE live our lives in such a passive way, waiting for life to do things to us.

Up to a point, that is. When we’ve had enough of life, we get violent. That’s why we had a “Riot Act”.

What children we are.

It’s time to grow up and realise that we are going to lose the lifestyles we hold so precious, whether we like it or not. It’s too late now to prevent that. The question is, what comes next?

We have a choice. We could, as in Greece, start rioting, giving them all the excuses they need to drop their fascist agenda on us from a great height. They’d like that.

Or, we could rebel, lawfully. Peacefully. With confidence.

We have, would you believe, the mechanisms within our constitution to do that. And, as has been shown in the past, when action is taken peacefully, they have no answer.

The choice is before us now – LAWFUL REBELLION, or a new REIGN OF TERROR.

I urge everyone reading this to choose the former. Join us at the British Constitution Group’s conference in January.

It’s time to take our country back, peacefully.

Imagine my complete lack of surprise when I read this:

And now for a world government

Gideon Rachman – Financial Times December 8, 2008

I have never believed that there is a secret United Nations plot to take over the US. I have never seen black helicopters hovering in the sky above Montana. But, for the first time in my life, I think the formation of some sort of world government is plausible.

A “world government” would involve much more than co-operation between nations. It would be an entity with state-like characteristics, backed by a body of laws. The European Union has already set up a continental government for 27 countries, which could be a model. The EU has a supreme court, a currency, thousands of pages of law, a large civil service and the ability to deploy military force.

So could the European model go global? There are three reasons for thinking that it might.

First, it is increasingly clear that the most difficult issues facing national governments are international in nature: there is global warming, a global financial crisis and a “global war on terror”.

Second, it could be done. The transport and communications revolutions have shrunk the world so that, as Geoffrey Blainey, an eminent Australian historian, has written: “For the first time in human history, world government of some sort is now possible.” Mr Blainey foresees an attempt to form a world government at some point in the next two centuries, which is an unusually long time horizon for the average newspaper column.

But – the third point – a change in the political atmosphere suggests that “global governance” could come much sooner than that. The financial crisis and climate change are pushing national governments towards global solutions, even in countries such as China and the US that are traditionally fierce guardians of national sovereignty.

Barack Obama, America’s president-in-waiting, does not share the Bush administration’s disdain for international agreements and treaties. In his book, The Audacity of Hope, he argued that: “When the world’s sole superpower willingly restrains its power and abides by internationally agreed-upon standards of conduct, it sends a message that these are rules worth following.” The importance that Mr Obama attaches to the UN is shown by the fact that he has appointed Susan Rice, one of his closest aides, as America’s ambassador to the UN, and given her a seat in the cabinet.

A taste of the ideas doing the rounds in Obama circles is offered by a recent report from the Managing Global Insecurity project, whose small US advisory group includes John Podesta, the man heading Mr Obama’s transition team and Strobe Talbott, the president of the Brookings Institution, from which Ms Rice has just emerged.

The MGI report argues for the creation of a UN high commissioner for counter-terrorist activity, a legally binding climate-change agreement negotiated under the auspices of the UN and the creation of a 50,000-strong UN peacekeeping force. Once countries had pledged troops to this reserve army, the UN would have first call upon them.

These are the kind of ideas that get people reaching for their rifles in America’s talk-radio heartland. Aware of the political sensitivity of its ideas, the MGI report opts for soothing language. It emphasises the need for American leadership and uses the term, “responsible sovereignty” – when calling for international co-operation – rather than the more radical-sounding phrase favoured in Europe, “shared sovereignty”. It also talks about “global governance” rather than world government.

But some European thinkers think that they recognise what is going on. Jacques Attali, an adviser to President Nicolas Sarkozy of France, argues that: “Global governance is just a euphemism for global government.” As far as he is concerned, some form of global government cannot come too soon. Mr Attali believes that the “core of the international financial crisis is that we have global financial markets and no global rule of law”.

So, it seems, everything is in place. For the first time since homo sapiens began to doodle on cave walls, there is an argument, an opportunity and a means to make serious steps towards a world government.

But let us not get carried away. While it seems feasible that some sort of world government might emerge over the next century, any push for “global governance” in the here and now will be a painful, slow process.

There are good and bad reasons for this. The bad reason is a lack of will and determination on the part of national, political leaders who – while they might like to talk about “a planet in peril” – are ultimately still much more focused on their next election, at home.

But this “problem” also hints at a more welcome reason why making progress on global governance will be slow sledding. Even in the EU – the heartland of law-based international government – the idea remains unpopular. The EU has suffered a series of humiliating defeats in referendums, when plans for “ever closer union” have been referred to the voters. In general, the Union has progressed fastest when far-reaching deals have been agreed by technocrats and politicians – and then pushed through without direct reference to the voters. International governance tends to be effective, only when it is anti-democratic.

The world’s most pressing political problems may indeed be international in nature, but the average citizen’s political identity remains stubbornly local. Until somebody cracks this problem, that plan for world government may have to stay locked away in a safe at the UN.

      Some info on Susan Rice:

      http://www.larouchepub.com/other/1998/rice_2546.html

If Obama is nominating her as Ambassador to the UN, this is a strong signal of his intentions for a military interventionist policy in Africa. Zimbabwe should be prepared for war.

I am going to the British Library today to obtain a copy of her 1990 Doctoral Thesis “The Commonwealth Initiative in Zimbabwe 1979-80: Implications for peacekeeping”.

But again, we are OFF TOPIC.

Yes you are right, I was off topic…my apolgies……can’t promis it will not happen again however :o )

  5. Tom Collins says:

We don’t have to worry about the New World Order.

What we DO have to worry about is HOW this will be brought together.

The first building block towards the NWO is the European Union, then the North American Union and then Asia and Africa.

So, we STOP the EU in its tracks. How ? By undermining the EU in every possible way. Show up the Scandals, The Corruption, The Waste, The Lies; the backgrounds of those in the EU, and its supporters. Knock the EU apart piece by piece and it will break down. If you dismember a body piece by piece it will eventually die. So, let’s start the dismembering ! Anyone disagree ?

  6. John Morton says:

    Tom

In warfare, there are strategies and tactics. Remember, we are at WAR, with that beast, called the EU.

Our tactics can be skirmish, hit and run, diversion, classic irregular warfare, but our grand strategy must be to present the positive alternative and win our case on the merits.

If the EU is bad, what is so good about nation states and sovereignty. People seriously don’t understand these issues.

So, yes, we need to “go negative” on the battlefield, but we must also win the hearts and minds of people in order to mobilize the forces we will need to achieve our strategic ends.

  7. Tom Collins says:

    John

You may well be right and I am not dogmatic enough to reject your views.

However, to win a war you MUST have a PLAN “!

How do you offer “the alternative” which you suggest ?

How do you “win the hearts and minds” of people ?

I know it takes an acorn to grow an oak tree, but, with respect, that’s too bloody long !

    • The Editor says:

      Tom,

If you are really interested in our ideas for how to achieve this, then please come to the conference!!

      Mike,

  8. John Morton says:

Well said Mike. We need less talk and more action.

I hope to meet some of you regular posters at the conference so we can put faces to names.

    • Enufs Enuf says:

I’ve sent off a cheque and eagerly await a ticket for the conference and once again, thank you to all those who started the British Constitution movement – may it grow and prosper – God knows we need some collective solution as well as our own personal journey and attempts to awaken others.

I too hope to put ‘faces to names’ there – perhaps we should wear some kind of flower to i/d ourselves lol!!

Whatever happens to ‘politics’ in the future – there has to be a return to an authentic system of ‘checks and balances’ to remove so called “leaders” who are at best – deluded and at worst – insane…

      • John Morton says:

        Excellent!

        You will not be disappointed.

We intend to ensure that this event goes down in history as a turning point in this country.

  11. Tom Collins says:

John Morton says that we need “less talk and more action”.

    I suppose that’s a slight aimed at me ! ?

I was under the impression that this site was to exchange views and make suggestions and share experiences etc. I must have been wrong. Debate is not encouraged.

So, please tell me what action you intend to take ?

  12. John Morton says:

    Tom

A simple question: have you signed up for The British Constitution Group conference or not?

I will be there, and will be taking the outlined actions along with all the other participants.

Debate and discussion are ofcourse good, and necessary, and as you rightly point out, that is what this website is all about.

However, they are useless if we are not prepared to put rhetoric into ACTION.

  13. cheesy says:

I am greatly looking forward to the conference in January.
However, I am not looking forward to walking around in between talks, going up to total strangers, and saying, “Hello, I’m Cheesy.”
Oh dear, I had not thought about that when I chose my pen-name!

  14. Baron von Lotsov says:

    “It’s us. You and I.

WE allow this to go on. WE live our lives in such a passive way, waiting for life to do things to us.”

Yes and my recent experience has shown just that. I have been getting a campaign together to get people to write to their MPs and get them to make OFGEM accountable, so we don’t get shafted with our energy bills. The thread has so far had 4000 views and out of that, most of the people engaging with the thread have been attacks on myself and only one person actually bothered to write to their MP. However when they did, their MP sent them back a very good letter agreeing with the points and promising to do something.

About 5 minutes ago I was trying to post something on the NO2ID site about the Manchester congestion charging being voted out, one of the campaigns Manchester NO2ID have been involved with. Three times this thread has been deleted. They obviously have infiltration, but they sit back and pretend everything is fine.

So I’m not a happy chappy, as you can imagine. Each day I try and get people to do something. I research the scams, I find chinks in the armour, as in the OFGEM scam, and pretty much hand the guns to the people and explain how they use them. However this just leaves them all the more frustrated, because they suffer dissonance. They know they are weak pathetic good-for-nothings and hate anyone who reminds them.

And so the article is bang on correct, and this psychological manipulation of people’s instinctive psychology of self-defence and all the rest of it is being attacked almost entirely unnoticed. I don’t actually own a TV these days because it became pretty clear to me that it was being used as a propaganda machine. People have got to realise this war is a psychological one. You should avoid all forms of brainwashing, and if you do that for maybe six months you will notice profound changes. The good news I suppose is that it is a medical fact that brainwashing has to be reinforced. Without constant reinforcement the mind reverts back to reality, unless ofcourse it has been chemically damaged, but even then it can rejuvenate itself.

  15. Biloxi says:

GOOD NEWS: Director Rubin and ousted CEO Prince – and their lieutenants over the past five years – are named in a federal lawsuit for an alleged complex cover-up of toxic securities that spread across the globe, wiping out trillions of dollars in their destructive paths … Madoff Ponzi Scheme Dwarfed by Illuminati Rubin’s

    December 13, 2008 http://www.henrymakow.com by Henry Makow Ph.D.

The arrest of financier Bernard Madoff Thursday for operating a “Ponzi scheme” costing investors $50 billion made the TV network news. Curiously, a lawsuit the same day against Clinton Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin for defrauding Citibank shareholders of more than $122 billion, also described as a “Ponzi scheme,” got no airplay whatsoever.

  16. Baron von Lotsov says:

On a more cheery note, I have learnt today:

“The move comes as around 100 backbenchers are preparing to sign a Commons motion demanding ‘aggressive action’ against energy firms which have failed to pass on the benefits of lower oil prices. ”

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1094635/British-Gas-leak-reveals-customers-charged-different-prices-package.html

So the lesson to be learnt, as always, is that persistence pays off. You have to do the right thing at the right time and then the idea will multiply and eventually bear fruit. 1 MP-> 100 MPs is quite a result!

A Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace, by John Perry Barlow

Governments of the Industrial World, you weary giants of flesh and steel, I come from Cyberspace, the new home of Mind. On behalf of the future, I ask you of the past to leave us alone. You are not welcome among us. You have no sovereignty where we gather.

We have no elected government, nor are we likely to have one, so I address you with no greater authority than that with which liberty itself always speaks. I declare the global social space we are building to be naturally independent of the tyrannies you seek to impose on us. You have no moral right to rule us nor do you possess any methods of enforcement we have true reason to fear.

Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed. You have neither solicited nor received ours. We did not invite you. You do not know us, nor do you know our world. Cyberspace does not lie within your borders. Do not think that you can build it, as though it were a public construction project. You cannot. It is an act of nature and it grows itself through our collective actions.

You have not engaged in our great and gathering conversation, nor did you create the wealth of our marketplaces. You do not know our culture, our ethics, or the unwritten codes that already provide our society more order than could be obtained by any of your impositions.

You claim there are problems among us that you need to solve. You use this claim as an excuse to invade our precincts. Many of these problems don’t exist. Where there are real conflicts, where there are wrongs, we will identify them and address them by our means. We are forming our own Social Contract . This governance will arise according to the conditions of our world, not yours. Our world is different.

Cyberspace consists of transactions, relationships, and thought itself, arrayed like a standing wave in the web of our communications. Ours is a world that is both everywhere and nowhere, but it is not where bodies live.

We are creating a world that all may enter without privilege or prejudice accorded by race, economic power, military force, or station of birth.

We are creating a world where anyone, anywhere may express his or her beliefs, no matter how singular, without fear of being coerced into silence or conformity.

Your legal concepts of property, expression, identity, movement, and context do not apply to us. They are all based on matter, and there is no matter here.

Our identities have no bodies, so, unlike you, we cannot obtain order by physical coercion. We believe that from ethics, enlightened self-interest, and the commonweal, our governance will emerge . Our identities may be distributed across many of your jurisdictions. The only law that all our constituent cultures would generally recognize is the Golden Rule. We hope we will be able to build our particular solutions on that basis. But we cannot accept the solutions you are attempting to impose.

In the United States, you have today created a law, the Telecommunications Reform Act, which repudiates your own Constitution and insults the dreams of Jefferson, Washington, Mill, Madison, DeToqueville, and Brandeis. These dreams must now be born anew in us.

You are terrified of your own children, since they are natives in a world where you will always be immigrants. Because you fear them, you entrust your bureaucracies with the parental responsibilities you are too cowardly to confront yourselves. In our world, all the sentiments and expressions of humanity, from the debasing to the angelic, are parts of a seamless whole, the global conversation of bits. We cannot separate the air that chokes from the air upon which wings beat.

In China, Germany, France, Russia, Singapore, Italy and the United States, you are trying to ward off the virus of liberty by erecting guard posts at the frontiers of Cyberspace. These may keep out the contagion for a small time, but they will not work in a world that will soon be blanketed in bit-bearing media.

Your increasingly obsolete information industries would perpetuate themselves by proposing laws, in America and elsewhere, that claim to own speech itself throughout the world. These laws would declare ideas to be another industrial product, no more noble than pig iron. In our world, whatever the human mind may create can be reproduced and distributed infinitely at no cost. The global conveyance of thought no longer requires your factories to accomplish.

These increasingly hostile and colonial measures place us in the same position as those previous lovers of freedom and self-determination who had to reject the authorities of distant, uninformed powers. We must declare our virtual selves immune to your sovereignty, even as we continue to consent to your rule over our bodies. We will spread ourselves across the Planet so that no one can arrest our thoughts.

We will create a civilization of the Mind in Cyberspace. May it be more humane and fair than the world your governments have made before.

  19. AP Byrne says:

The way to win any war is to start at a local level, at the moment their is an enemy which is working from within, in every Council in this land, which is commiting fraud at an unbeliveably level, and which keeps going unchallenged every minute of the day, when are the people in this country going to wake up? if it was happening in France the people would be out on the streets, but in this country the stay comatosed like a rabbit in the full glare of the headlights of an oncoming motor, while the Government of the day robs them of every bit of security that they have, from Pensions, to Property, Banking Scams and what ever , and overlooked by a Corrupt Media in all its shapes and forms
Shame on you all to allow these Tratiors to creep up on you in the dead of night, while you are all so far up your own anuses that you cannot see what is coming down the road
