Before she met me, my wife hadn’t a clue about the things I write about here. She still struggles to accept quite a lot of it. But I know something is changing when she points things out to me that even a few months ago would have gone unnoticed.
On this occasion, it was in an interview with the Prince of Darkness on Channel 4 news.
“This is really weird,” she said, “the interviewer is speaking normally, but it’s like Mandelson is trying to hypnotise everyone.”
The reason this brought a wry smile to my face was that I had, just that day, been digging into Mandelson’s links to the murky world of Neuro-Linguistic Programming – that “leadership”/change/personality-splitting technique used by the likes of Common Purpose.
I’d been digging because a friend had pointed out to me what happened if I typed http://www.petermandelson.com/ into my web browser of choice.

As you can see if you click on the screenshot above, the site I was taken to was, in fact, NLP Connections, run by a guy called Chris Morris.
So who, I wondered, is the registered owner of the petermandelson.com domain name?

So, there you go. I suppose that’s some kind of result.
Here’s what we know:
- petermandelson.com was registered by Chris Morris in 2001.
- For a couple of years afterwards, Peter Mandelson ran a genuine website, as can be seen by looking at the Wayback Machine’s archive. The site was run by Chris Morris.
- At some point, probably about the time Mandelson ran off to Europe, he stopped running his website, and for some time the petermandelson.com domain name pointed at a 4dmedia.co.uk placeholder page.
- At some point, Chris Morris misconfigured his webserver, either deliberately or by accident, so that anyone typing petermandelson.com into their browser is taken to Morris’ NLP website.
- Morris has suddenly fixed his “error.”
As a result of all this, and my wife’s observation, I’d like to know:
- Was Chris Morris ever employed as a speech writer to Peter Mandelson?
- Are Chris Morris and Peter Mandelson friends at all? Have they ever been?
- Did Peter Mandelson know of the “misconfiguration” of Morris’ webserver?
- Did he support the use of his name in this way?
- Has Peter Mandelson ever had training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming? If so, how much, and at what level?

He’s a student of Richard Bandler. Some facts you should know about him. 1) He worked for the CIA. 2) He was a cocaine addict. 3) In a murder trial where he was accused of murdering a prostitute at his house, an unknown lady walked into he court half way through the case and picked up a pile of papers. No one knew who she was but it was soon discovered they were the entire papers for the case and the case was subsequently dismissed. Another time he caused controversy when he was teaching some students about NLP, pulled a gun from his pocket, stuck it to their heads, and asked them if they believed he would not pull the trigger as a kind of psychological demonstration of what he was teaching. Other than that, everyone thinks he is a genius and treats him like a guru. (I wonder why.)

All of ‘em are trying to use NLP–they just aren’t very good at it for the most part. True power derived from NLP is a matter of skill–there are only so many Leonardos about with truly powerful skills. There are a larger number of house-painters about who write the speeches for the political scum. The politicals themselves are akin to those lab chimps who, after much coaxing, manage to make a few daubs on canvas. Bottler Brown’s so called “bounce” has more to do with Mandelson calling in favours from large numbers of champagne leftists in the BBC and other media than it does to NLP altho they are using it.

Peter Mandelson and George Osborne reunited with a handshake
Lord Mandelson and George Osborne shook hands today and tried to laugh off the spat over exactly what happened on their holiday in Greece.
The pair, who fell out spectacularly after staying with a Russian oligarch in Corfu this summer, were thrust together again on the stage at a political awards ceremony.
As guest of honour at the Threadneedle Spectator awards, shadow chancellor Mr Osborne was required to present a gong to Lord Mandelson.
Lord Mandelson was named “newcomer” of the year by the awards panel after his surprise return to the Cabinet as Business Secretary in Gordon Brown’s October reshuffle.
His return prompted Mr Osborne to claim last month that Lord Mandelson had been critical of the Prime Minister when they were guests of Oleg Deripaska, a Russian billionaire, in the summer.
Questions emerged over potential conflicts of interest for the politicians as it emerged that they had both accepted hospitality aboard Mr Deripaska’s yacht off the Greek island.
Mr Osborne was also forced to admit being present when a potential donation from the Russian – which would have been illegal – had been discussed.
At today’s awards, the Tory frontbencher said he had been unsure of the identity of the man he was to present the newcomer of the year award to.
“Then I remembered it was the guy I met on holiday,” he said. “You know how it is, the only other English guy in the resort, you swap stories about work back at home.
“You think you’re never going to see them again.”
Accepting the award, Lord Mandelson said: “Having been marched down the political gangplank a few times

This letter is the first step (following your ‘Notes for Guidance) in my Application to the ECtHR. It relates to an Order by the Court of Appeal Civil Division, dated 11 June 2008 (sealed 19 June, received by me 22nd June 2008). I am a certified NLP-instructor. I was introduced to the term in 1989 and I have worked with the methodologies ever since. NLP is basically a synthesis of three things: 1. the study of the structure of subjective experience. 2. Tools and methodologies that are natural consequence of the implications from part 1. (communication skills, hypnosis, anchoring, reframing, sorting, modeling etc ). 3. A set of assumptions that empower the user. Like any sharp tool. NLP can be used to do good and it can be used to manipulate.
I understand that as NLP has become more and more known in the world – since 1972 – that a number of users have taken the skills to manipulate – This is not new. Communication has been used to manipulate ever since the first psychopath learned to speak.
It is interesting to note that NLP does not take up the issue of the nature of human consciousness. It does, however, give the user the ability to make this discovery if so inclined. Along with other research that also includes subjective experience as part of the legitimate evidence for research (near death experiences) it can be shown with scientific methodology that consciousness is not bound to the brain, nor created by it. It is spirit in nature and does not die when consciousness leaves the body.
This knowledge opens doors that could enhance the collective stat of our human condition – because the rules of the game are entirely different than we have been led to believe. After 18 years of working with over 14,000 clients and extensive use of hypnosis you may be happy to discover that you can move past blind faith which religions have bound us down with, and science that says you are a biological accident.

You may be pleased to discover that although some people may, misuse knowledge, it is not the knowledge that is at fault but the understandings of the person involved. Therefore beware of throwing the baby out with the bath water.

The point is, of course, that this sort of thing can be used either for good or for ill, and in between. It’s interesting to look at footage of Hitler’s speeches; his hand motions are remarkable, especially when you consider the fact that normal German body language is neither extravagant nor greatly demonstrative.
Seems the HMG are really pushing NLP hard.

The weather is grim, the economy is in a mess, but ministers believe that they can restore the feel good factor – by teaching children how to look on the bright side of life.
The government is backing a new project designed to “immunise” youngsters from getting the blues by educating them in the art of happiness at a young age. In a programme imported from the United States, 11-year-olds are to be taught how to shrug off setbacks and banish pessimistic thoughts, helping them to cope with whatever life throws at them.
The Penn Resiliency Program, as the scheme is known, has been scientifically tested and shown to produce positive results. More than 1,500 11-year-olds in 22 schools in Britain are already on the courses in a pilot scheme masterminded by one of the world’s leading authorities in “positive psychology”.
Dr Martin Seligman, a psychologist in Pennsylvania, will meet Hazel Blears, the communities secretary, this week to discuss launching the programme nationally.
Among the ministers who are backing the project are Ed Balls, Ed Miliband and James Purnell, who will give the keynote speech at the Conference on Wellbeing.
The programme is being pushed by Geoff Mulgan, a former head of policy at No 10 under Tony Blair, through the Young Foundation, a think tank.

Tavistock, England–This has been the primary programming center for England. The Rothschild programmers work out of Tavistock. A large number of slaves in America have been programmed there.
Tavistock has been doing mind-control since before W.W.ll. Under the supervision of London’s W Board & 20 Committee MI6 and MIS’s Section BIA ran double agents and mind-controlled spies/couriers during W.W. II. MI6 has had an office at Century House, No. 100, Westminster Bridge Road. MI5 offices have been in part on Curzon St. MI5 has operated behind a number of fronts, incl. their fake travel agency Casuro Holidays. MI-5’s address for mail is Room 055, The War Office, London. Special Intelligence Service (SIS) dealt with all types of mind control. Tavistock was under SIS. The British government has had their own telephone exchange with a 222 prefix, which was later linked to another secret exchange YTAN. What is also very important is we all expand on how seemongly isolated events are what could be termed national mind control mechanisms, to position a whole nation to change its point of focus, Drugs, rligions, secrwet socities, cults and sub cultures and activist’s of all descriptions. Elite planners designed Sept. 11 for its shock value. I assume the purple ties as Constantly worn by Brown and Darling (and others – watch!) over the past few weeks has to do with NLP/mind control……Brown became the ‘man he isn’t’ from the time he began to wear the purple tie…..Phoencian/Roman purple I believe it is – a mixture of red for fire and blue for water mayhap??

I had a good look at that NLP connections group
Neuro-linguistic programming turns out to be exactly as it sounds: Pseudoscience!
Its one of those groups that treats sceptics as suppressive persons, just like in scientology. When anyone questions the validity of NLP, there is a huge backlash against them. For example, one person turned up there recently and presented the view that NLP is pseudoscientific, and presented the actual research reviews that also state neuro linguistic programming is as pseudoscientific as it sounds.
That person seem to have been well and truly shunned!
The most laughable thing was they posted a question on how to make NLP more pseudoscientific. Of course, nobody knows how to:)
Mandy might do neuro linguistic programming. We don’t know. But with regard to the actual research on the subject, he would do well to deny it. It would be career suicide to admit to using an updated and glorified version of scientology:)

A close male relative of Baby P was feared to have recruited youngsters in care for a notorious paedophile ring, according to a secret report seen by The Mail on Sunday.
Although he is not believed to have had any contact with Baby P, his involvement in a child abuse scandal in Islington, North London, in the early Nineties raises questions on the extent of checks into Baby P’s background.
‘The family should have been subjected to forensic examination,’ said a child protection expert.
‘Even cursory checks would have rung alarm bells. Social workers might then have removed the baby, as a paediatrician and police pleaded.’
The relative was named in reports as a victim and a feared recruiter of children for pimps.
In the early Nineties he was put in a children’s home.
At the time, all 12 of Islington’s then homes, and at least one of the boarding schools it used, had been infiltrated by paedophiles.
The relative, then a frightened 13-year-old, was under the control of three pimps – Alan, John and George – who persuaded him with money, drugs and threats to bring other children to them.
He tried in vain to blow the whistle and protect himself and other children.
He gave social workers the names of others ferried from the homes to, he said, Manor Park, Tottenham, Soho and Westminster to ‘be buggered by old men’.
But none of the men were placed under surveillance or questioned.
Several social workers and managers fought hard to get help for the boy and other children targeted by the paedophiles.
Social worker Neville Mighty was deputy superintendent of Islington’s then unit at 18 Highbury Grove, where pimps slept overnight.
His boss claimed such men were simply ‘boyfriends’ and said Mighty was a prude to repress the children’s sexuality.
Mighty, who had received death threats, had named the relative in a report pleading with Islington’s then director of children’s services, Lyn Cusack, for help.
Ms Cusack, married to a senior policeman, did nothing save threaten disciplinary action because Mighty was ‘rude’. Eventually, in June 1992, Mighty was sacked.
Liz Davies, the senior Islington social worker who encouraged Mighty to go public, said: ‘We got too close. There were too many powerful people involved. Child sex, pornography and sadism are extremely lucrative industries.’
In 1994, a damning independent report criticised the failure of police and social workers to help the relative and to help protect children in care in Islington.

So the way out on an individual level is to recognise the triggers that have an effect on us, the movies that really affect you are on your frequency, they are pressing your buttons so to speak. So the labarynth is coming into your system from the outside at the expense of that which comes from within. To exist totaly on the basis of external stimuli places one within the boundaries and thus total existence within the paradox of the labarynth…The String that Thesius laid is a string without physicality, it is a spiritual string, one can only see this string with the third eye which stands beyond the labarynth.
The whole show is personal, it is all going on within, the actual reality we exist in, exists within the brain at the point of the visual Cortex, the five senses transmit light to the cortex as sound, light, taste, touch, smell, all these presumptions programmed into us from birth, they become our point of reference and we shut off from the spiritual. So to take all stimuli from the external alone our picture of reality is limited.
So we all need to gain control of the computer required to exist in this dimension, the ‘body’, that means conquering fear, because the main programming of the body computer is for survival, this can only interupt what needs to be done by those of us who are well on the road to smashing the control of the matrix.
And of course the natural progression of awakening is to gravitate to others who have awakened as is happening here on this site and others. So we are at a point of coming together not based on any third dimensional criteria, but in a higher aspect of life which we have gained. That being the case then all hierarical positioning in the third dimensional reality has no basis in our coming together, we will naturally fall into our best suited roles.
If all who understand what I put forward here, push to move in this direction, why we would speed up the gathering exponentialy, we become a force to be reckoned with a force with higher power than these psychopaths use… Just me gently ranting…

I joined NLP Connections in order to make… connections. And what I found for the most part was a collection of closed minds chanting the words ‘cult.. cult..’.
I don’t get it. NLP teaches one to open ones eyes, ears and mind… and what I found was the opposite.
Whilst I have every respect for those that use NLP properly, for the most part I reckon it’s one big pyramid selling scheme, with Bandler at the top and his friends the next level down, and so on to the bottom. Obviously Morris wants a piece of the action.
BTW – I heard from one of Bandler’s crowd who broke ranks and got excommunicated from the cult shortly afterwards, that all of Bandler’s group sessions (which involve mass hypnosis) also involve covert magic. He hypnotises the crowd, does his magic and then makes everyone forget, so no-one remembers what was done to them.
It looks like a lot of personality worship going on and as you say very cult like behaviors which are encouraged
Who broke ranks?
I know one of Bandler’s students. Actually, he used to boast he was taught by all the top three. I thought he might have been ‘one of them’ and was very suspicious for a long time. However, after giving him the information he needed to know about Bandler he seems to have had a bit of a rethink, and I noticed his personality changed a bit as well. He was very uptight with people and some interpreted it as a bit rude. Now, try as I might, I did not find any more evidence that he was up to no good, and figured he was just an innocent dupe who believed in it.
So there is a lesson there, and again the same thing with one of their operatives. The thing that I find is a bit of a shock can sometimes snap them out of the trance they work in, and once this is achieved their own intelligence can take over, and this means they end up wanting to pull out of what ever dodgy stuff the system has them working on.
In my experience, all of these people are involved in some sort of mind control/cult/occult group, and they are picked for these positions generally because they are deemed easy to work on. These sorts of minds are the ones that can be very imaginative and can conceptualise fictitious worlds, stories and fantasy. That’s why they make things like the Dungeons and Dragons role-playing games popular. I expect one of their scouts picks people who have an aptitude for this sort of thing, and then gets them involved in a group of some sort, and hence they are recruited.
You will often find, although they might be full of pride, they are hiding a psychological weakness, they fear straying too far from the crowd. So in order to pull someone out I shock them out of their trance and then once they are thinking in the beta brainwave state, as opposed to the alpha dream state, I try and help them build a new system by reason and basically independence.
This other chap who has pulled out seems to be undergoing quite interesting changes. He is finding his own personality, but meanwhile getting a lot of hassle from the people he used to work for, i.e. constant surveillance and so forth. They can’t really do anything about the fact his mind is starting to understand what the game is about, because they aren’t supposed to officially exist in the first place. I have noticed though they like to use intimidation tactics in the hope the mind is still fragile enough to be scared back into conformity. That’s why you need to help these people after they pull out, rather than accuse them of working for the system. Also you can learn a huge amount because they have insider information. It’s a win-win situation, you learn and they get their mind back.

Well keep looking when your nose takes you. There are loads of secretive mind control groups, especially in my area. To penetrate them requires the utmost stealth, and you can only really do it through personal contact. It takes a lot of patience to bring someone out, and they recruit these people by the bucket load. It’s literally a factory line of zombies, and I could not possibly take on all the head cases. However, if you succeed in getting a few out while the group thinks they are still in, then you can do a lot of damage. I have seen people walk out of a group and cause the entire group to suddenly collapse (the follow-like-sheep mentality can sometimes work to your advantage!)

Sure, its a little like a pyramid scheme. Actually the sociology of religion research stream says its a bit like some of the religions of the far East that pay homage to a lineage of gurus. The religiosity is a bit like scientology, but just more of an implied religiosity, and partly because of their beliefs (presuppositions).
The mind-control stuff is just the same as any other such group. The mind control doesn’t come from NLP. It comes from the basic social psychology tricks you get in any cult; suppression of criticism, pseudoscientific wild claims, setting up enemies, setting up anti-science conspiracy theories, and so on.
There may be a few NLP techniques they use that screw you up also (eg dissociative state techniques). But its mostly just bunk rituals and social pressure.
Any power Mandelson has is due to real social influence and clever political wrangling. If one of his ex writers is into NLP, then that probably explains why they are an ex.

If NLP teaches its students how to get people to do what they would not otherwise choose to do then there is nothing morally equivical about it – it is unarguably bad. Rape is rape, whether achieved through violence, or the drugging of the victim, or hypnotic manipulation.

The funding actualy gives incentive for these acadamies to shut down all schools around them…They get loads of dosh and don’t have to declare it all. They are in control of setting up ‘independant’ tribunals should parents complain, basical these acadamies can do what the hell they like. I agree, its bad. There is no power in hypnosis or NLP in that situation, its all down to the basic social psychology of cults and social pressure.
Cults in general teach people to recruit (whether they know it or not). They teach a set of beliefs (the map is not the territory (you create your own reality), and so on.
They teach persistence in recruitment. So an NLP proponent would recruit by making wild claims or by claiming “it works”. An NLP seduction proponent will persistently use NLP in a coffee shop or night club situation, apply vague promises, fake connection, fake praise and so on. They will be a persistent pest in that case.
Such cults, (from EST, to Landmark, to Scientology, to NLP) tend to get their proponents to do those sorts of self-help style rituals (eg the swish pattern, dissociation, reframing) in order to keep them going. There is no efficacy in the ritual. Its just the fact that any ritual or selection of rituals will keep the person happy in their persistence. Ultimately, the result is they will get some non-skeptical people interested in their club, you get buy – in etc.
The problem also goes further as there is no real payoff. There is this feeling of potential power with all the fancy voice tones and hand movements and visualizations, but there is no attainment of incredible potential. So you get repeat-buy from gurus who have just that little extra bit of mojo to help them along.
The emphasize practice and downplay the fact that their methods have failed empirical testing. To ignore the huge amount of times it fails and emphasize the chance times of minor success and inflate them.
So whether its a sexual NLP pest, or a true believer who keeps pushing the cult-line, certainly its pretty much all bad.
