Why not save a lot of time and trouble and simply hand Germany the keys to Dover? In just my lifetime, they have gone from being totally bust (wheelbarrows full of D. Only to rise like Phoenix, above and well beyond anything we could hope to achieve in this country – to the point where they are now buying up anything and everything – including OUR Royal Mail postal services! Their own Deutsch Bundesposte is government protected and they allow anybody to touch it – like we should! We are total wimps!

We have friends in Berlin and other parts of Germany and I can only admire the way they “just get on with it” – and they know right from wrong! (Most of the time!) No litter, polite, everything seems to work, no yobs on the clean, smooth streets – a committed sense of “purpose”, fairness and justice. However, when they DO get it wrong – they get it REALLY wrong!

Who knows where it will all end?

You are probably correct….the point I was tring to make is, one has to be careful who one shoots at, as they may be very capable of shooting back at you. Gunboat deplomacy only works (and then not always) with the small guys.

If we select our ministers and front bench spokesmen who’s views we dont like we could change the policy of the House of Commons if we got rid of the entire labour front bench the labour party would not have such a crushing majority.

People like Brown would stay as independants because they could not get a job in the real world and would need the money so there would be no by elections.

Every other party would have to sit up and take notice or it could happen to them, but would a commons made up of independant MP;s be a bad thing after all they would have no party whips. Albert

It’s not “global revolt” – it’s global control – by the main five operators…namely Bilderbergers, Fabians, Illuminati, Opus Dei (the Catholic Church) and the Freemasons.

All the “main people” in power to day, be it in governments, banking or industry, belong to one of these five associations. They meet in private, without reporters or notes and basically……stitch us up! They decide what they are going to do with the world!

There’s an old saying – “if you can’t beat them – join them”! These are the main players today and “they have decided” to divide the world into five divisions.

The Americas, the African Continent, the Asias, Central Europe (or the EU!) and the Australian southern hemisphere.

Think about it and note their game plan is “coming together nicely”!

You won’t beat them – so why not join them?

Incidentally Peter – I don’t think the Russian trawler fleet is involved in fishing our waters, it’s all “the EU lot”! The Russians would not be so arrogant! Or do you know different?

For 8 years, since retiring, I too have found myself “involved in politics”! I have no web site, but run a daily sort of Newsletter across England. (Not Scotland or Wales – they have their own Parliaments and I now consider them as independent and “abroad”!)

In line with many of your contributors, I too find the mood of the nation is changing – very slowly – as dissatisfaction with with most things, grows.

For some years I have openly said that I can only see revolution ahead, unless something changes dramatically and quickly. It hasn’t! There is now far more talk of revolution about..

How, or where, it will start is anybody’s guess, but every day brings an even more alarming piece of news and I think “why do we keep tolerating this appalling treatment, bad management and corrupt government”?

Global it may be, this so-called Credit Crunch – but I reckon Brown is mainly responsible for our dire state! He is NOT the one to get us out of it.

All three main parties are singing from the same hymn sheet – the BNP and UKIP will be outlawed by Brussels in 2010 (so I gather) – so we are rapidly running out of peaceful options.

Also, maybe one of your “learned members” can explain to me why the Queen signed Her own nation away to foreign rule?

She did this by both signing all Treaties and authorising Her Prime Ministers to proceed – starting with traitor Heath!

I agree with David Grothier – I don’t see anybody on the horizon likely to lead us out of this, in the near future. Will it be a civil war – starting up against the immigrants, or against the government and the Civil (there’s a misnomer for you!) Servants?
